THE VIA DURINI SHOWROOM: A TRIBUTE TO DESIGN AND CONVIVIALITY

SHOWROOM, 08.04.25

While a section of the Arclinea showroom is dedicated to the exhibition “100 Years, 100 Ingredients”, during Milan Design Week, the space traditionally reserved for kitchens is unveiling renewed solutions in both layouts and finishes — telling the ongoing story of the brand’s evolution and seamless blend of design, functionality and conviviality.

PROXIMA
At the heart of the Via Durini display is Proxima, presented in a striking and impossible to ignore configuration. This high-performance, professional kitchen from the Arclinea Collection asserts its prominence with its imposing central island and “wet” rear working area, in a layout that perfectly harmonises aesthetics and function. A new Pro plinth band in press-folded stainless steel brings clarity and visual continuity to the kitchen, reinforcing the perception of it as a single sculptural volume. The entire design is dressed in sophisticated black: PVD Plus Black steel doors and handles, worktop and backsplash in Arabescato Orobico marble; complete with the signature Lignum et Lapis slatted doors and boiserie in black ash.

LIGNUM ET LAPIS
In the display next to Proxima, Arclinea presents Lignum et Lapis, an one of the Collection’s iconic models. Fusing aesthetics and function into a single sculptural form, the kitchen island — with a grey Versylis marble top and a Convivium Elegant door in Vintage Plus stainless steel — becomes a central, memorable feature. The adjacent “wet” area speaks the same material language, ensuring visual cohesion; punctuated only by side columns with Lignum et Lapis slatted doors in Fossil Oak. Here, Lignum et Lapis presents a solution that conveys a natural equilibrium between the richness of authentic materials and refined design, where every surface and detail is fully integrated.

PROXIMA
Inside the showroom, Proxima appears in a second configuration — this time with American-inspired modularity and a wall layout that includes a central range, Pro plinth band and Artusi hood, all in stainless steel. Equipped with food prep accessories, a robust butcher-style table in natural oak serves as a perfect companion. Wall-integrated storage features wood-finish doors in g_cover; an innovative material made from “g upgraded recycled graphite.” This marks a step forward in Arclinea’s journey toward mitigating its environmental impact without compromises on quality. The result is a kitchen that meets contemporary expectations of durability and resilience.

"ITALIA
At the far end of the showroom, the Italia model is showcased complete with an island featuring an angular snack top, paired with a long, fully-equipped wall. Matte Greige lacquered doors, a satin-finish Ecotone New Lasa quartz worktop, a natural oak snack bar and a stainless steel shelf hood come together to define the space with the effortlessness of contemporary elegance. This composition reflects a minimalist design philosophy focused on harmony and efficiency, offering high-quality solutions that embody practicality and refinement."

THEA AND CONVIVIUM
In the newly added area, the Thea model takes centre stage, featuring slatted doors in NTF Fossil Oak, a waterfall worktop in the new Rosso Lepanto marble finish, and a Canto snack bar in PVD Plus Bronze. Beneath the skylight sits the Convivium island, with a Tropical Storm quartzite worktop, Elegant doors in PVD Plus Bronze, and a wall panel in Principia Smoked Oak.
