ARCLINEA BRINGS CREATIVITY & CONVIVIALITY TO BROMPTON ROAD
SHOWROOM, 21.09.23
On the occasion of the 2023 edition of London Design Festival, Arclinea and B&B Italia invited guests to attend an event fusing conversation, food and design at their Brompton Road home. Nestled in the heart of the prestigious Brompton Design District, the Arclinea showroom at the B&B Italia flagship store features a newly restyled showcase of four exceptional kitchen designs including Convivium, Thea and Lignum et Lapis.
Rich in materials and refined in form, two Convivium islands define the architecture of the space on the ground floor. One presents an enticing bronze PVD profile and a worktop in matte brown Idra marble, while the other showcases elegant champagne PVD with a polished Calacatta Oro Marble worktop.
Envisioned as a destination for creativity and conviviality to convene, the Brompton Road space played host to a unique event as part of the design festival. In collaboration with B&B Italia, the Connections in Design event saw designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby engage in a lively discussion moderated by Wallpaper*’s esteemed design editor Rosa Bertoli.
Embodying its exploration of the connections between ingenuity, food and nature, Arclinea invited guests to enjoy a menu and pasta-making experience curated by London restaurant Burro e Salvia, including pasta produced using wild farmed flour sourced from regenerative agriculture, as well as Friggione, a traditional sauce from Emilia Romagna.
Made in Italy and defined by its bold but minimal design, the flagship store’s Thea island includes black ash doors and a vintage steel waterfall worktop.
The Lignum et Lapis island, with Fossil oak doors and built-in Italia handles, boasts its iconic glossy Carrara marble structure. Italia Fossil oak doors integrate with grey Fenix and stop-sol glass wall cabinets.
