ARCLINEA IN BOSTON: A NEW DESTINATION FOR KITCHEN DESIGN
SHOWROOM, 14.05.25
In the heart of Back Bay — where historic architecture sits alongside premium boutiques — Arclinea has opened a new showroom within the flagship B&B Italia Group store. Strategically located between Arlington Street and St. James Avenue, the space has been imaged as a cultural reference point for contemporary design. Bringing Arclinea kitchens’ signature functional elegance to Boston, the brand’s new home is set among an architecturally significant context that celebrates both innovation and excellence in design.

At the centre of the first layout, the Convivium island perfectly embodies the concept of the kitchen as a lived-in space. The Era System snack top flows seamlessly into the surrounding environment, while the double-shelf hood in PVD Plus bronze contrasts with the Calacatta marble island to highlight its minimalist design language. Storage units with Principia doors in Canaletto walnut and PVD Plus bronze handles complete the composition, which also incorporates the MAC (Mini Appliances Container) — an exclusive Arclinea element designed to offer elegant organisation solutions for small appliances and everyday tools.
The second kitchen centres around the Lignum et Lapis island, distinguished by its sculptural cork quartz structure. Suspended cabinets and tall units with slatted smoked oak doors create a striking play of solids and transparencies. A PVD Plus bronze hood enhances the project’s essentiality, appearing as a graphic gesture within the design. The wet kitchen, with matching cork quartz countertop and backsplash, elevates the space’s functionality. Italia doors in stromboli Fenix, wall units with Trama glass doors and a floating shelf system strike a fine balance between form and function.

The third layout completes the journey with a distilled take on utility demonstrated by the Thea system. The island, which features a waterfall countertop and Canto snack top, encourages a convivial, multi-use approach. A PVD Plus black recessed handle integrates into a symmetrical layout where Thea deserto lacquered base cabinets are paired with a coordinating countertop and backsplash in Idra brown marble. Tall units and wall cabinets in black-stained ash with glass doors define a potent, sculptural volume — solid yet refined — that reinforces the kitchen’s role as the beating heart of contemporary living.
