ARCLINEA UNVEILS A NEW HOME IN TURIN
SHOWROOM, 28.06.24
The district called Gran Madre, with its beautiful buildings and elegant residences, extends along the banks of the river Po in the pre-hilly area south-east of Turin. In this neighborhood, at 27 Corso Moncalieri, Arclinea has just opened its new monobrand store, Arclinea Torino, in collaboration with esteemed partner Pivato Mobili.
The angularly shaped space, featuring nine windows, spans approximately 200 square meters. Here, clean architecture and natural light accommodate the Collection designed by Antonio Citterio over the years. The sequence of models begins with Convivium, presented in its island version with a Carrara marble worktop, a NTF fume oak smoked oak wooden table, and storage wall units with taupe matt lacquered doors.
The display, interspersed with Vina modules and glass displays, then showcases Lignum et Lapis, an iconic model from the Arclinea Collection. A large backlit panel featuring evocative kitchen-themed imagery serves as the backdrop for the “monolith” island, which boasts an Ecotone™ New Era Nirvana worktop. Designed to be both functional and convivial, it includes a cooking area, sink, and suspended base units.
Continuing into the store, we encounter Thea, the minimal, handle-free kitchen, extending in an L-shaped configuration along the walls of a spacious room. The working area displays a long base featuring NTF fossil oak slatted doors, a matte Quartzforms® Tech Venus Waterfall worktop and a stainless-steel shelf, while the full-height white Fenix® columns for storage and appliances occupy the entire opposite side.
At a focal point in the store, a round table from the Maxalto collection introduces the latest model on display: Italia, the most renowned of the Arclinea kitchens inspired by professional chefs. The setup features a central island entirely made of stainless steel with an Era snack table in fumé oak NTF and a suspended hood. Behind it, a fumé oak NTF wall with slatted design and integrated Modus doors conceals a distinctive “wet kitchen”, a functional support working space.
The overall result is a blend of understated elegance and sophistication, perfectly in tune with the Savoyard style of the city.
