MILANO DESIGN WEEK 2022
The coordinated image shared by both Arclinea showrooms and presented during Milano Design Week 2022, represents the natural evolution of a consistent path, a declaration of the brand’s founding values, whereby design and technology act as cornerstones for innovative concepts and in which functions and tools dialogue with the extraordinariness of daily life. Here are all the compositions in detail.
THEA + STAVE DOOR
Thea is a main player in the new showroom in a double island version featuring Thea door with the characteristic sloping edge in the new Lignum stave version in NTF fumé oak: an exclusive design today given a new look and revolutionised by a construction system that softens the corners and enhances the natural grain of the wood.
THEA + CERAMIC DOOR
In the centre, an elegant version of the Thea island: a single-material monolith in gres porcelain Calacatta Extra with through-body vein. The brand new entry is a door with ceramic frame and molding in aluminium that can house different finishes and materials. To the sides, walls of tall units with doors in the new NTF grey oak finish integrate Pocket elements fitted with internal dedicated accessories, made through special production processing and materials, scratch-resistant, here creating a 'pantry’ space and a ‘home office zone’.
“Interpretation of evolution in behaviour is one of the great topics linked to kitchen design.”
In the window, a new image for Convivium, the concept that in 2002 revolutionised how kitchens were designed. Refined materials and combinations: black PVD steel in the limelight for the work island and in the central accessorised channel inserted beautifully into the worktop in polished Noir Saint Laurent marble and NTF black ash for the Era built-in table.
Up&Down, the characteristic table built into the Convivium island, is given a new look, new finishes and unusual design, making it perfect for use right across the Collection. The oleodynamic system that lifts the table from a height of 74 to 90 cm, is even quieter, easy to use and is fitted with an anti-crushing lock.
POCKET SYSTEM AND LIGNUM ET LAPIS BUILT-IN DOOR
Behind the Convivium island, the Lignum door in NTF black ash built into the wood panelling creates a wonderful architectural effect that highlights the beauty and originality of its exclusive staves. In the foreground, the new vertical handle with PVD insert, combining optimum grip with attention to detail and unique production process.
ITALIA, GREY OAK AND INTEGRATED HANDLE
A new look also for the Italia kitchen: a welcoming layout teams Vintage stainless steel, for the socialising island and work area, polished Collemandina marble, the NFT grey oak slats of the wood panelling, Modus System doors, Era Snack Bar and internal ceiling.
CONVIVIUM + PRINCIPIA
Light-filled and welcoming: the kitchen with wall of tall units featuring Principia door in NTF fossil oak together with the island and work area with Convivium Elegant door in bronze PVD, worktop in Forest Sughero Quarzo Tech, and Era Snack Bar in NTF fossil oak. The glass wall units are new and have an aluminium frame and minimal profile with built-in handle that allows for excellent grip.
“Society evolves, habits change, technology is honed. And kitchen design accompanies this change, at times even anticipating it.”
THEA + OPEN MODULE
Interesting colour and material combinations for Thea with central work peninsula and Waterfall worktop in satin-finish Gravel Quarzo Tech. Stromboli grey Fenix NTM® laminate is the main player on the doors of the base and tall units and the same colour, lacquered matt Stromboli grey Fenix, is used for the Gola Profile and the Canto snack bar, the latter with an innovated structural system. NTF fossil oak for the Frame System door, the wall units and the new open wall units with their eye-catching rounded corners and slim internal dividers.
CONVIVIUM + ARTUSI HANDLE
Greige matt lacquer for the doors of the tall units in this layout with Convivium island in Vintage stainless steel and Era Snack table in NTF American black walnut. The vertical Artusi handle in stainless steel is a new entry. The wall with double Vina Epicure completes this kitchen.
Double Vina Epicure in the version with black framed door and interior in American black walnut with accessorised new drawers and deep drawers.
