On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2023, Arclinea will present Drawing Better Connections, a manifesto of its ethical design approach. Visitor to our flagship showroom at Via Durini 7, newly renovated by Antonio Citterio, will have the chance to discover our responsible commitment through a series of initiatives, events and products curated to inspire better connections with quintessential ingredients for life - food, family and nature.
Arclinea’s ethical design promise arises from an awareness of the complexity of these connections, and their profound influence on the trajectory of our lives. It is our belief that in order to cultivate a thriving future we must preserve and regenerate all that feeds and supports us – reconnecting with the food we eat, the communities we build and the environments we inhabit.

Fusing the best of Italian design legacy and optimistic future thinking, Drawing Better Connections sees Arclinea taking its first steps toward a better future. From materials, production techniques, culture and conviviality, to individual and communal accountability, our latest products have been designed to inspire mutual growth and reconnection, focusing on three central pillars.

A conscious connection with what we eat is the first step to sustainable living. This awareness drives our commitment to nurturing positive value chains and preserving the diversity of global culinary culture.

We aim to design quality for the communities we reach, as well as our family of production partners. There cannot be sustainable evolution if we do not connect and balance our own needs with those of the people we impact.
BETTER CONNECTIONS: NATURE
Our philosophy prioritises well-designed connections with nature. This means designing for enhanced durability and pleasure of use, mitigating our impact on the environment, and facilitating a regenerative end-of-life for our products.
